newdle comes to itch.io!

Over a year ago I used a daily word game as a project to test out this newfangled AI coding nonsense. Vibe-coding turns out to be kind of meh, but the game itself turned out pretty neat! It's based on a dice game my wife bought me called Q-Less. Aside from presenting it in the wordle-style sharable daily game format, I've also added a few different goals you can pursue each day. You get different emoji awards depending on what you prioritize while you're building your grid. You could focus on building long words... or focus on a really compact overall shape. I think discovering all the possible trophies is part of the fun, so I won't spoil all of them.

Anyway, this has been quietly sitting on my website for like a year... I decided to update my itch.io presence a bit and the first step is making this playable here as well! I'm hoping to find time for a couple of small updates to my other games here, add pages to itch.io for some of my holiday PICO-8 games, and hopefully launch some new projects as well.
